Ms. Ibtesama Shinwari is a Mid Level Counsel at HP | FKM, specializing in environmental law, carbon markets, Public-Private Partnerships (PPPs), policy and governance, corporate law, and banking and finance. With a diverse academic background, she holds an LL.B. from the University of London and a BS (Hons) in Geomatics (GIS/RS) from the University of Peshawar.

Ibtesama has a strong interest in environmental law, climate policy, carbon credit projects, infrastructure law, and corporate governance. Her experience in carbon credit projects and environmental law, combined with her involvement in regulatory advisory services, enables her to contribute to a wide range of initiatives. She focuses on aligning legal frameworks with sustainable development goals and Pakistan’s Nationally Determined Contributions (NDCs).
